OPTOS
Patients at The Family Vision Clinic have the advantage of the latest and most dependable eye care equipment available today. Our optometrists use an advanced device called the Optos Optomap. This machine allows for the creation of a 200-degree image of the eye. This image accurately displays the eye’s internal structures and gives the optometrists the information they need to make effective plans of action to treat the diseases our patients deal with every day. This image is produced without the need for eye dilation.
OCT
OCT imaging gives us a cross-sectional view of problems in the retina or cornea making lesions easier to diagnose, follow, and co-manage with specialists. This equipment is essential in treating glaucoma and macular degeneration as well as detecting degeneration from high risk medications, such as Plaquenil.
