Customized Contacts for Corneal Disease
Patients who are affected by corneal eye disease will find some relief from their vision problems with contacts customized by The Family Vision Clinic. We can customize scleral lenses
to ensure a perfect, comfortable fit.
We also offer gas permeable contact lenses (GP lenses). GP contact lenses are hard, permeable contacts made from a special plastic that allows oxygen to pass through. These lenses are great for patients with corneal disease because of their permeability and bacteria-resistant properties. These rigid lenses contain no water and are therefore less likely to take on deposits or harbor bacteria that could harm your eyes.
Multifocal lenses are available as well, and they are excellent alternatives to bifocal lenses.
